The British Football Academy is committed to providing professional, certified coaching services and as such all of our senior coaching staff have received extensive training and accreditation from football's governing bodies such as The (English) FA. The British Football Academy prides itself on the quality of its coaches and seeks to facilitate their continued growth as coaches during their stay at the Academy.
Sid Lloyd - Academy Senior Coach

Sid Lloyd has committed his life to ensuring that the necessary infrastructures are in place to accommodate all who wish to play, learn or support amateur football in Japan. The British Football Academy Tokyo is Sid Lloyd’s brainchild and as Managing Director of its parent company Footy Japan Ltd., he is devoted to the challenge of expanding the amateur international football education network in Japan and around the Asia-Pacific. Sid Lloyd currently plays for the Sala Football Club, who play in the Tokyo Metropolis League a league of semi-professional standard that he instituted and organizes.
Jon Day Academy Senior Coach

Jon Day has been coaching at the British Football Academy Tokyo, since its inception. He has made valuable contributions both on the field, with his passion for coaching and knack of connecting with and inspiring kids, and behind the scenes doing PR work. He has also spent two years coaching 4 Japanese junior high school teams in the Yokohama area and has worked alongside youth development officers and youth team coaches of the J-League’s Yokohama Marinos FC. Jon Day also plays for the British Football Club and continues to be their top goal scorer for a second season.
Michael Yeomans - Academy Coach

Mike Yeomans is a diligent coach who has recently passed his FA Level 1 coaching certificate. As a qualified coach with the English FA, he is determined to pursue his career in coaching and is actively working towards his Level 2 qualification and from there his UEFA B Licence.
At the British Football Academy Mike Yeomans contributes effectively to the energy, structure and progression of sessions and relates very well to both children and their parents - with his talents as a coach coupled with his football career playing for Basildon and Aveley in the UK's prestigious Ryman League, he is a shining new addition to the Academy's coaching staff.
Oliver Burton-Towell Academy Coach

Ollie Burton-Towell's innate ability to connect with children, entertain, enthuse and educate them, is second to none and as a coach he embodies all that the Academy is about. Ollie's short and extremely successful internship with the Academy resulted in him now coaching for the British Football Academy as a recognized coach on a regular basis. Ollie is a holder of the English FA's Level 1 coaching certificate - and to say that he has a bright career ahead of him in football coaching, management, or indeed in any capacity he put his mind to, would be an understatement. Ollie is a highly-valued member of the Academy's ever-growing coaching staff.
Jonathan Brandt Academy Coach

Jonny Brandt started off his coaching career as an intern with the British Football Academy as part of a work experience project at his school and went on to excel during his FA Level 1 coaching certificate course recently. Now a qualified coach with the English FA, his commitment to the endeavors of the British Football Academy are second to none and his youth and vitality energize the Academy kids week in and week out.
