Tokyo International School was founded in 1997 by parents who wanted to provide a high quality, child-centered education for their children in an international setting.
All BFA classes are conducted on TIS’s new safety approved, rubber-surfaced playground and we recommend the kids wear flat-soled trainers (sneakers) to protect the surface. All participating members MUST wear shin pads at all times. In the event of bad weather, classes will be conducted in the gymnasium, at which time flat-soled trainers and shin-pads should be worn by all members. Please ensure your child is suitably attired for BFA sessions.
GETTING THERE
By Train:
Take the JR Yamanote line or JR Keihin Tohoku line to Tamachi Station. Go out of the West Exit and take the elevated walkway over Daiichi Keihin street (highway). Take the steps down to street level (small street) and continue straight down to Sakura street, cross over & turn left (away from Tokyo tower). The entrance to the school is located about 50 meters down the street on the right.
