Privacy Policy
- All information provided to The British Football Academy Tokyo, either on-line (booking and registration, inquiries and correspondence by e-mail) or in writing (booking, registration and customer agreement), by our clients including, but not limited to, information provided by parents/guardians of children registered at BFA., (as well as information provided by our sponsors, suppliers, agents and all associates of BFA.) will be treated with the strictest of confidence and in no way and under no circumstances will be made available to any third-parties.
Refund Policy
- The British Football Academy Tokyo, will in no way and under no circumstances give refunds, unless the circumstances are deemed, by the board of directors at Footy Japan Ltd. (BFA's parent company), to be extenuating. For example if, in the unlikely event that a child is injured during a coaching session, to the extent that the child can no longer participate in future BFA. sessions and the injury was a direct result of negligence on the part of a BFA. official, then a refund will be made to cover the exact value of the outstanding classes purchased upon registration.
- All care is taken by The British Football Academy Tokyo to ensure that any BFA. apparel provided to a child upon registration, or purchased thereafter, is of the best possible quality and free from defects and/or flaws. In the unlikely event that said merchandise is indubitably flawed or defective and provided that said merchandise has not been worn, BFA. will exchange the merchandise contiguously.
Child Protection
- The British Football Academy Tokyo holds the protection of children as its highest priority. As such we have our own Child Protection Officer at BFA: Mrs. Paco Hanaoka-Lloyd, who is responsible for the initial and continuing Child Protection education of all BFA. personnel. In accordance with the FA Child Protection Guidelines, all BFA. personnel have been police-checked to ensure their suitability to working with children.
- The British Football Academy Tokyo is committed to ensuring that during classes the utmost care is being taken to protect not only the physical well-being of children, but also we go out of our way to safeguard the emotional/psychological welfare of our children.
- A 'kids-first' approach to child protection is taken at BFA., as we believe that this is in a child's best interest, in most cases. This means that, in certain situations, if we feel that a child is in some way suffering, be it physically or mentally, or is displaying signs of mistreatment in any way, our first line of communication will be, through or under the guidance of our Child Protection Officer, with the child directly to try an establish if there's a problem and if it needs addressing. We at BFA. understand that kids can throw mood swings at the drop of a hat and pick up countless bumps and scrapes in the schoolyard, however, we take it upon ourselves, using professional discretion, to make sure that all of our kids are OK all of the time. Parents, thus, can rest assured that their children are being cared for, from the moment they arrive at a session, to the time they leave.
- We would ask parents to inform us as soon as possible if there are any problems, physical or mental that may be affecting their child. Although a dead pet may seem trivial to some, for a child this could be emotionally damaging. BFA. staff are always happy to lend an ear and in some cases we may actually be able to help.
- For more information about BFA's Child Protection Policy, please contact our Child Protection Officer: Mrs. Paco Hanaoka-Lloyd, directly at: paco@footyjapan.com
