The British Football Academy (BFA) has been established with the specific intention of bringing a British style of football education to youngsters in Japan.

BFA caters for all kids between the ages of 3 to 15 and an interest in football is the only prerequisite!


Our British coaches have all been trained by The English Football Association (FA), Scottish Football Association (SFA) & UEFA. and use approved coaching methodologies to deliver a structured, skill-based coaching curriculum.


Our courses have been designed to develop individual football skills whilst at the same time encouraging positive peer interaction, within a fun, safe and friendly English-speaking environment.

BFA staff have all benefited from the enjoyment and rewards that football can bring and are committed to passing this feeling on to inspire and motivate the next generation of potential David Beckhams!

We at BFA. truly believe that it's never too early to start playing and learning about football.


The formative years of a child's life are key when it comes to establishing a solid foundation of football proficiency, but at the same time BFA recognizes the need for kids to be kids and have fun. With this in mind we have developed four classes that make up the BFA. family: Pups (3 to 4 year olds), British Bulldogs (6 to 6 year olds), British Lions (7 to 8 year olds), The Academy (9 to 10 year olds) and The Academy Stars (11 to 15 year olds).
